Yesterday, we briefly noted that it was Simon/Peter’s relationship with Father God, that gave him the revelation that Jesus is the Christ.
“Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven” – Matthew 16:17.
Revelation, by very definition needs another to show it to you.
You don’t find a revelation.
You don’t study a revelation.
A revelation is revealed.
In this case, revealed to Simon/Peter by God Himself.
Relationship with God will always bring revelation ….
Revelation establishes Identity …..
Your Identity comes with Authority ….
And with Authority, Power.
